DEVELOPMENT OF LEGAL COMPETENCE IN STUDENTS OF GENERAL SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

This article analyzes the content, significance and pedagogical foundations of the development of legal competence in students in general secondary educational institutions. The study reveals the processes of formation of legal consciousness, legal culture and responsibility on the example of the discipline of Education, and also widely covers the role of interactive teaching methods in the assimilation of legal knowledge - problem situations, role-playing games, discussions, practical tasks and modern pedagogical technologies. The article also examines the impact of family and school cooperation on increasing the effectiveness of legal education on a scientific basis. The results of the study confirm the relevance of the discipline of Education in developing legal consciousness in students, preventing offenses and forming a responsible civic position.
