Аннотация

This paper examines the official language of Uzbekistan and the development of its national literature from a historical, cultural, and linguistic perspective. It highlights the role of the Uzbek language as a key element of national identity and discusses major reforms, including the transition to the Latin alphabet and the expansion of Uzbek in education, science, and public life. The study also analyzes the evolution of Uzbek literature from its early oral traditions to the works of classical authors such as Alisher Navoi and the contributions of modern writers. By emphasizing continuity, modernization, and cultural transformation, the paper demonstrates how the Uzbek language and its literary heritage function as vital instruments of cultural preservation and intellectual progress.
