Аннотация

The territory of modern Uzbekistan has been a cradle of ancient civilizations for thousands of years. From the early Bronze Age settlements to the flourishing urban centers of the Achaemenid, Sogdian, and Bactrian cultures, the region has played a key role in the development of human civilization. Archaeological findings, such as ancient fortresses, temples, coins, and manuscripts, reveal the rich cultural and economic life of these societies. Cities like Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and Termez became important hubs for trade, science, and culture along the Great Silk Road. These civilizations contributed to art, architecture, science, and religion, leaving a lasting heritage that influences Uzbekistan today. Understanding the history of ancient civilizations in Uzbekistan helps scholars, students, and the general public appreciate the deep historical roots and cultural identity of the region.
