Energy demand in cities is rising, and there is insufficient space for traditional renewable energy installations, such as solar panels. This becomes a bigger concern in towns with a high population, where the rooftop and open space are insufficient. Therefore, sustainably meeting the energy needs of urban homes and buildings proves challenging, as buildings often rely on energy sources that produce pollution and increase the cost of electricity. We suggest adding solar power-generating and storing windows made from smart glass into homes in cities. They contain photovoltaic cells that change sunlight into electricity and function like ordinary glass. With batteries, the power generated can be stored in reserve, providing consumers with a reliable energy supply. Because the system intelligently manages both generated and stored energy, it becomes economical to use at home. It introduces a new and compact alternative to standard solar panels by utilizing urban architecture. Integrating energy generation and storage into the windows enables you to maximize the room's use and preserve its appearance, while also allowing for abundant natural light. The approach succeeds because it reduces use of the electrical grid, cuts energy expenses, and helps protect the environment. As more people live in cities, bright glass windows are crucial in incorporating renewable energy into buildings, supporting smarter, more sustainable urban growth.
