New and noteworthy records of click beetles (Coleoptera, Elateridae) from Uzbekistan

Six species of click beetles (Melanotus sladkovi, Anostirus venustus, Zorochros nanus, Cardiophorus kugitangi, Coptostethus povolnyi, and Dicronychus bactrianus) and the genus Coptostethus are recorded for the first time in Uzbekistan. New distributional data are provided for Aeoloderma crucifer, Agriotes oxianus, Zorochros lazorkoi, Z. mesasiaticus, and Cardiophorus lopatini, which previously was recorded from Uzbekistan based on sporadic findings only. All of these species are found in central and southern Uzbekistan, in Bukhara, Qashqadaryo, Samarkand, and Surkhondaryo regions. The distribution and bionomics of the species are discussed, and taxonomic notes are given for some species, including a brief diagnosis of the previously unknown female of Anostirus venustus.
