Аннотация
Pediatric vocal fold nodules are among the most common benign voice disorders in school-aged children and are strongly associated with phonotraumatic behaviors such as yelling, loud play, and inefficient voice use. Semi-occluded vocal tract exercises (SOVTEs) have gained prominence in contemporary voice therapy because they can improve source–filter interaction, reduce phonation threshold pressure, promote efficient vocal fold vibration, and decrease maladaptive laryngeal hyperfunction. Lax Vox therapy is a form of SOVTE that uses phonation through a tube partially submerged in water to create flow-dependent back pressure and rich somatosensory feedback.
