Аннотация

CDN (Collaborative Delay Tolerant Network) development is the core to communication in environments with complex topologies and periodic connectivity loss, and large time delays. The current research applies the bio-inspired optimization algorithms to enhance the performance of Delay Tolerant Networks. Bio-inspired algorithms of which are represented by three main methodologies such as Genetic Algorithms (GA) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) holds much promise for adaptive searching in large spaces of solution. The biological inspiration enables such algorithms to enhance routing tactics and resource sharing along with message scheduling procedures in DTNs and, therefore, ensures the provision of an increased network throughput with enhanced packet delivery ratios, together with minimized latency. The research develops novel DTN routing algorithms based on bio-inspired optimisation techniques to address issues of mobility, intermittent connection, and reduced power consumption. This research has both simulated trials and real-world DTN deployments for determining the effectiveness of new protocols and comparing their execution against existing ones to show how bio-inspired approaches increase DTN reliability and stability. This work advances towards the design of secure and efficient DTN protocols whose use in disaster recovery efforts coupled with space communications systems and remote area networks will increase its utility.
