Development of international cooperation in the tourism industry: the experience of Uzbekistan

The article is devoted to the development of international tourism in Uzbekistan. The article examines the reform of institutional structures for managing the tourism industry in Uzbekistan, as well as the development of international cooperation, including the World Tourism Organization. Particular attention is paid to promising areas of tourism: the development of pilgrimage tourism — "ziyorat", as well as the prospects for international cooperation in the development of tourism within the framework of the transnational project "one belt — one road".
