Аннотация

The phenomenon of ideological threats in modern society encompasses a spectrum of challenges to cultural identity, social cohesion, and epistemic integrity. This paper examines the reflection of such threats in the literary works of Isaac Asimov, a prolific science fiction author whose narratives frequently explore issues of belief, manipulation, and the socio-political dynamics of knowledge. Through a qualitative literary analysis grounded in ideological criticism and sociocultural theory, the study demonstrates how Asimov’s fictional worlds act as allegorical mirrors to real-world ideological tensions. Works such as “Foundation”, “The Gods Themselves”, and “The Naked Sun” reveal the author’s nuanced engagement with themes of propaganda, epistemic corruption, and authoritarian control. The findings suggest that Asimov’s literature functions not only as entertainment but also as a diagnostic tool for understanding and resisting ideological manipulation in the 21st century.
