Regression analysis and forecasting of the impact of telecommunications and computer technology on the national economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan

In this article, we examined the impact of telecommunications and computer technology on the national economy of Uzbekistan. We used the national economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan as the object of our regression analysis. In the regression analysis, the gross domestic product was chosen as the dependent variable, and the independent factors were the volume of industrial production, agriculture produced in Uzbekistan, and exports of telecommunication and computer programming services from Uzbekistan for 2010-2024. The ordinary least squares regression method was chosen as the analytical tool. The results show that an increase in the export of computer programming services by 1 trillion soums will lead to an increase in the GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan by 0.1719 trillion soums. The expected volume of computer programming services exports for the period 2025–2030 is forecast. The expected increase in the gross domestic product due to the fulfillment of forecast targets for computer programming services exports for the period 2025–2030 is estimated. This trend has a positive impact on the country's economic growth.
