Аннотация

In the oil industry, accurate measurement of liquid levels in reservoirs and tanks is essential for resource efficiency and process optimization. Traditional methods for measuring liquid levels in tanks lack accuracy. They involve high technical costs, which makes it urgent to develop a non-contact solution using modern laser sensors. This research work substantiates the physical and mathematical principles of oil level measurement using a laser sensor. It develops a mathematical model taking into account the return and refraction characteristics of the optical signal and proposes an algorithm to minimize errors and ensure stable operation under various conditions such as light, evaporation and temperature changes. The resulting conceptual design, mathematical foundations and software algorithm provide high accuracy, fast operation and reduced maintenance costs, increasing efficiency in oil storage and transportation processes.
