Digitalization and Sustainable Development in Central Asia

This study investigates the impact of digitalization on sustainable development in Central Asia. The study relies on a balanced panel dataset covering five Central Asian countries—Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan—over the period 2016 to 2024. The choice of countries and the time frame is determined by the availability and consistency of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Index, which is published annually for all United Nations member states.
