Direct radiative n12C capture to the first excited state of the 13C nucleus at low energies
Аннотация
The analysis of the directly measured experimental cross-section for the nuclear-astrophysical [Formula: see text]C(n,[Formula: see text]C reaction leading to the first excited state of the [Formula: see text]C nucleus has been performed within the modified two body potential approach. The peripheral nature of the reaction [Formula: see text]C(n,[Formula: see text]C([Formula: see text]; 3.09[Formula: see text]MeV) has been demonstrated. New value of the asymptotic normalization coefficient for [Formula: see text]C+n [Formula: see text]C([Formula: see text]; 3.09[Formula: see text]MeV) vertex with their uncertainty has been obtained. The new value of the asymptotic normalization coefficient obtained in this work was used for the extrapolation of the cross-section to low energies within the modified two body potential approach. The Maxwellian-averaged neutron capture cross-section at [Formula: see text] [Formula: see text]keV has been determined to be [Formula: see text] [Formula: see text] [Formula: see text]barn. The partial astrophysical S factor at zero energy is found to be [Formula: see text] [Formula: see text]fm 5 /s.
