Аннотация

Socialization of children from migrant families is an urgent problem of the modern educational system of Russia. In this regard, there is a need to find the most successful adaptive practices for working with this category of students in elementary school. The aim of the study is to substantiate theoretically and to test experimentally effective practices of work on socialization of migrant children of primary school age. Theoretical and empirical research methods were used in the work. The participants of the experiment were first grade students representing the experimental and control groups. The total number of subjects amounted to 20 people, 7 of whom were migrant students. The results of the pedagogical experiment proved the effectiveness of training programs using game practices to solve the problems of social adaptation of migrant students in elementary school. It was revealed that the game form of classes gives foreign students the opportunity to communicate directly with their peers and teacher, helps them to overcome difficulties they face in the process of adaptation and socialization to a new environment in an entertaining way. Game educational practices have a huge educational potential, purposefully influencing the formation of the personality of newcomer children, assimilating the norms and values inherent in their host society. In the course of theoretical and empirical analysis of the stated problem, the acute need for Russian schools to organize full-scale activities aimed at supporting and accompanying migrant children was revealed, which opens up new prospects for further research in this direction.
