ENLIGHTENMENT ON THE VERGE OF CRISIS: SCHOOLS AND MADRASAS OF THE FERGANA VALLEY IN THE LATE 19TH – EARLY 20TH CENTURIES

The scientific article analyzes the reasons why traditional educational institutions such as muslim schools and madrasas in the Fergana Valley in the late XIX and early XX centuries lagged behind world civilization and why intellectuals of the time attempted to reform them, based on various literature and sources.
