An analysis of how resilience and sincerity are reflected in the female characters of O‘tkir Hoshimov’s “Ikki eshik orasida”
Аннотация
This article analyzes the representation of female characters in O‘tkir Hoshimov’s novel Ikki eshik orasida within the context of modern Uzbek literature. It focuses on the aesthetic categories of resilience (chidamlilik) and sincerity (samimiylik) as key elements shaping the female image. The study argues that these qualities function not only as personal traits but also as ethical and narrative principles that structure the text. Female characters are portrayed as moral anchors who embody cultural values such as patience (sabr), empathy, and responsibility. The article concludes that Hoshimov presents women as central figures of ethical stability and a humanistic worldview, contributing to a deeper understanding of gender roles and moral philosophy in Uzbek prose.
