Аннотация
The thesis deals with the factors and policy measures affecting the reform of the digital economy in Singapore within the framework of the Smart Nation project. The study investigated the links between the Smart Nation initiative and its relations to the key components of the digital economy such as cybersecurity, big data analytics, artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure and digital trade and their impact on the productivity, technology and competitiveness of the economy as well as on the efficiency and social impact of the Smart Nation project. The research results are based on qualitative analysis and contain recommendations for the implementation of smart nation development in Uzbekistan, taking into account the country’s specifics, including the existing digital gap between cities and rural areas, as well as the low level of qualification of the population and the insufficient level of infrastructure.
