MAGNETOCALORIC EFFECT AND MAGNETOCALORIC COOLING TECHNOLOGIES
Аннотация
This article analyzes the physical nature of the magnetocaloric effect and the operating principles of magnetocaloric cooling technologies based on it. The magnetocaloric effect, which is associated with temperature changes in certain ferromagnetic materials under the influence of a magnetic field, is considered a promising direction for the development of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly cooling systems. The study highlights the main properties of magnetocaloric materials, cooling cycles, and their advantages compared to conventional vapor-compression refrigeration systems. The possibilities of applying magnetocaloric cooling technologies in transport and industrial sectors, improving energy efficiency, and eliminating harmful refrigerants are also scientifically analysed.
