Resume. The relationship between oral diseases and cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) has been widely discussed in modern scientific literature. This review critically evaluates current evidence on improving treatment and prevention methods of dental diseases in patients with cardiovascular pathology. Despite substantial evidence supporting the association between periodontal and cardiovascular diseases, controversies remain regarding causality and clinical implications.
