Effectiveness of An Optimized Diagnostic and Management Algorithm for Pregnant Women with Cervical Pathology

Objective: to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of a developed step-by-step algorithm for diagnosis and management of pregnant women with cervical pathology. Materials and methods: 120 pregnant women with cervical pathology were included. The main group (n=60) was managed according to the new algorithm; the comparison group (n=60) received standard care. Results: Disease stabilization without dysplasia progression was recorded in 93.3% of the main group vs 81.7% in the comparison group at 6 months. The diagnostic significance of HPV was confirmed: χ²=4.60 (p=0.032), RR=1.79, Se=64.1%, Sp=56.8%. Conclusion: The optimized step-by-step algorithm significantly improves clinical outcomes compared to standard management (93.3% vs 81.7%).
