ANALYSIS OF MODERN FIBER-OPTIC SENSORS BASED ON PHASE MODULATION

This article analyzes the operating principles and modern technological solutions of fiber-optic sensors based on phase modulation. The main novelty of the paper is the proposal of a hybrid sensor system based on the Mach–Zehnder interferometer and Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) to eliminate the “cross-sensitivity” issue of interferometric sensors toward temperature and pressure.
