Today, when artificial intelligence and digital technologies are rapidly developing, training qualified specialists for Industry 4.0 is one of the most relevant issue. The solution to this problem is to train future specialists in accordance with the requirements of Industry 4.0 during their student years. In particular, the correct organization of the independent learning process plays an important role in the formation of knowledge and skills of future specialists. However, in today's existing approaches, there is a problem of individual orientation of the educational process, insufficient provision of quick feedback, and lack of opportunities for continuous assistance in the development of knowledge and skills. One of the most correct solutions to this problem today is the use of artificial intelligence and digital technologies. For this purpose, in this research work, an AI-assisted Independent Learning Model was developed to organize the independent learning process of future specialists. The general scheme of this model and the system architecture for it were developed in the research work. At the same time, the methodology for implementing this model in practice was studied. At the end of the study, the experimental results were evaluated and analyzed. The indicators Knowledge Performance Score, Independent Learning Score, Time Efficiency Score, Motivation Score, Academic Integrity Score were used to evaluate the results of the pilot test. The results obtained proved that the proposed model can be used as an important tool for training specialists with knowledge and skills for Industry 4.0.
