Аннотация

Resume. The restoration of endodontically treated teeth (ETT) remains one of the most extensively studied yet debated subjects in restorative dentistry. Despite considerable research, questions persist regarding the optimal clinical protocols and materials to be employed, particularly since fractures are frequently associated with these teeth. To address these concerns, a comprehensive search of the MEDLINE/PubMed database was conducted, focusing on studies published over the past decade. The search strategy included the following keywords: nonvital teeth, endodontically treated teeth, pulpless teeth, devitalized teeth, dental restoration, dental pins, dental post, root canal preparation, and post-and-core technique. This search yielded 207 studies, of which 43 were selected for inclusion in this review. The selection was based on their relevance to fracture resistance in endodontically treated teeth restored using different approaches and restorative materials. Key words: teeth, endodontics, restorative dentistry
