This article analyzes the role of artificial intelligence technologies in the development of modern society, the necessity of their legal regulation, and the theoretical and practical problems arising in this field. The study broadly examines the legal status of artificial intelligence, issues of liability related to its use, problems associated with intellectual property rights, the experience of foreign countries, and prospects for improving the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in this area.
