The Role of Comparative Literary Analysis in The Study of The Literary Character
Аннотация
This article explores the role of comparative literary analysis as a methodological framework for examining the literary character. The study focuses on the analytical potential of comparative approaches in uncovering the structural, psychological, and value-based dimensions of character construction. Particular attention is paid to the ways in which comparative analysis enables the identification of both typological similarities and culturally specific features of literary representation. The findings demonstrate that the integration of comparative methods significantly deepens interpretative possibilities and provides a more comprehensive understanding of the relationship between individual identity and cultural context in literary texts. The article argues that comparative literary analysis not only broadens the scope of literary interpretation but also enhances the methodological precision of character studies.
