ULTRASOUND ASSESSMENT OF OVARIAN RESERVE IN WOMEN WITH INFERTILITY
Аннотация
Infertility remains one of the most pressing problems in modern reproductive medicine. One of the key factors determining a woman’s reproductive potential is the ovarian reserve, which reflects the quantity and functional status of the ovarian follicular apparatus. In recent years, ultrasound examination has played a leading role in the assessment of ovarian reserve due to its high informativeness, accessibility, and non-invasive nature. The most significant ultrasound criteria include the antral follicle count, determination of ovarian volume, and assessment of blood flow in the ovarian arteries. Ultrasound diagnostics allows timely detection of decreased ovarian reserve, prediction of the effectiveness of assisted reproductive technologies, and determination of the optimal management strategy for infertile patients. The article presents modern literature data concerning the role of ultrasound methods in the diagnosis of ovarian reserve in women with infertility.
