Clinical results of subthreshold micropulse laser therapy in the treatment of acute central serous chorioretinopathy
Аннотация
Central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR) is a macular retinal disorder predominantly affecting young men of working age. Its primary clinical manifestation is decreased central vision. Purpose. To determine the efficacy of navigated laser treatment using the Navilas 577s system in patients with acute central serous chorioretinopathy. Materials and Methods. 18 patients with acute central serous chorioretinopathy were included in the study: 10 men and 8 women. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) performed on a Solix (Optovue, USA) was used for morphometric assessment of the macular zone. The treatment was carried out using the Navilas 577s (OD-OS, Germany) navigation laser system in micropulse mode. Results. The use of a subthreshold micropulse laser regimen with individually tailored energy parameters using the Navilas 577s (OD-OS, Germany) system demonstrated high clinical efficacy and safety. Keywords: central serous chorioretinopathy, micropulse laser exposure, retinal pigment epithelium
