Аннотация

This article examines the impact of international and intra-EU migration on the functioning of the European Union labor market. It analyzes key demographic and economic trends, including the structure of migrant labor, employment participation, economic activity, and the effects on productivity and wage distribution. Special attention is given to institutional mechanisms for migration regulation and migrant integration, such as the European Migration Agenda and directives on legal labor migration. Based on Eurostat and OECD statistical data, the study highlights the multifaceted effects of migration on labor market sustainability, addressing labor shortages and ensuring socio-economic stability in the context of population aging and structural changes.
