The integration of modern pedagogical approaches with digital technologies has fundamentally transformed mother tongue education, enhancing engagement, personalization, and cultural preservation while addressing the demands of 21st-century learners. This article explores the evolving landscape of native language instruction, emphasizing how digital tools from interactive platforms and artificial intelligence to multimedia resources and gamified applications complement and enrich traditional methodologies. It examines theoretical foundations, practical implementations, cognitive and sociocultural benefits, as well as challenges related to digital equity and teacher preparedness. Special attention is devoted to the Uzbek educational context, where digital innovations support the vitality of the Uzbek language amid globalization. By fostering immersive, adaptive, and learner-centered experiences, these methods not only improve linguistic competence in reading, writing, listening, and speaking but also strengthen cultural identity and cognitive development. The study highlights the potential of digital technologies to democratize access, promote inclusivity, and sustain mother tongue proficiency in an increasingly interconnected world, offering insights for educators, policymakers, and researchers committed to high-quality language education.a1318c63668f
