ARCHAEOLOGY AND PRESERVATION OF HISTORICAL HERITAGE.

The article discusses the importance of archeology in the study of human history and the issues of preserving historical heritage. Archaeological research conducted in Uzbekistan, using the examples of monuments such as Afrosiyob, Toprakkala, and Varakhsha, demonstrates the antiquity of national civilization. It also briefly analyzes the scientific activities of the scientist Ahmadali Askarov, who made a great contribution to the development of archeology, his work on the study of ancient urban culture and the preservation of heritage.
