Аннотация

The aim of this study was to conduct a comprehensive morphological and molecular-genetic analysis of abortion material obtained during the first trimester of pregnancy and to evaluate the contribution of PPARGC1A (Gly482Ser), MTHFR (A1298C), and F2 (20210G/A) polymorphisms to the development of pathological changes in chorionic and decidual tissues. Macroscopic and microscopic assessments of the samples were performed, followed by a comparative interpretation of histological features and genetic markers. The findings revealed that morphological patterns of maternal perfusion insufficiency and impaired trophoblastic invasion were statistically more strongly associated with thrombophilic gene variants. The comprehensive evaluation approach enabled the establishment of a definitive diagnostic conclusion in 96% of cases. These results highlight the importance of integrating morpho-histopathological and molecular-genetic analyses in identifying the underlying mechanisms of early reproductive losses and improving diagnostic accuracy.
