Аннотация

This article examines the relationship between language evolution and intertextuality in texts from the perspective of text linguistics. It highlights the role of texts as the highest communicative units through which language development is reflected and preserved. The study discusses the concept of intertextuality, its theoretical foundations, and its functions in literary, scientific, and official texts. Particular attention is given to the significance of intertextuality in scientific discourse, where it serves cognitive, communicative, and ethical purposes through citations and references. The article concludes that intertextuality is an essential mechanism of text formation and an indispensable feature of scientific communication and language development.
