Friendship is one of the most valuable human relationships and has been celebrated throughout the history of literature. Writers and poets from different cultures and periods have portrayed friendship as a source of support, loyalty, trust, and moral growth. Literary works reflect the significance of friendship in shaping human character and strengthening social bonds. This article examines the representation of friendship in literature, focusing on its moral, educational, and social importance. Through examples from world and Uzbek literature, the study highlights how friendship serves as a universal theme that continues to inspire readers across generations.
