COMPARATIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF TRADITIONAL AND MINIMALLY INVASIVE SURGICAL INTERVENTIONS IN DISEASES OF THE CERVIX
Аннотация
Diseases of the cervix remain a significant challenge in gynecological practice due to their high prevalence and potential impact on reproductive health. Surgical management plays a central role in the treatment of cervical pathologies; however, the choice between traditional and minimally invasive approaches remains a subject of ongoing clinical debate. This study aims to compare the effectiveness, safety, and postoperative outcomes of conventional surgical interventions and minimally invasive techniques used in the management of cervical diseases. A comparative analysis was conducted based on clinical parameters, including intraoperative characteristics, recovery duration, complication rates, and preservation of cervical function. The findings demonstrate that minimally invasive surgical methods are associated with reduced operative trauma, shorter hospitalization periods, and faster functional recovery, while traditional techniques continue to provide reliable therapeutic outcomes in complex or advanced cases. These results highlight the importance of an individualized surgical strategy that considers disease severity, patient reproductive plans, and available clinical resources. The study contributes to optimizing surgical decision-making and improving the quality of care for patients with cervical pathology.
