METHODS FOR DESIGNING AND CALCULATING VORTEX WATER FLOW

The article investigates the entry of water from a supply pipeline into a spiral chamber through water-discharge structures, examining the transformation of kinetic energy resulting from the emergence of angular velocity. The adhesion of the flow to the pipe walls under the influence of centrifugal forces is studied, and formulas are derived for evaluating pipe deformation and excess kinetic energy under the action of resistance forces.
