Аннотация

The present study examines the pedagogical significance of developmental games in fostering speech and cognitive development among preschool children. Contemporary preschool education emphasizes the creation of a child-centered learning environment that promotes intellectual, social, emotional, and communicative competencies. Developmental games serve as an effective educational tool that stimulates children's curiosity, enriches vocabulary, enhances logical thinking, and supports social interaction. The study employs theoretical analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, comparative analysis, and synthesis of contemporary educational approaches to investigate the impact of developmental games on preschool children's development. The findings indicate that systematic implementation of developmental and didactic games significantly contributes to speech enrichment, cognitive growth, creativity, and school readiness. Furthermore, developmental games facilitate the formation of communication skills, problem-solving abilities, independent thinking, and positive social behavior. The study concludes that developmental games represent an essential component of preschool education and should be systematically integrated into educational practice.
