Аннотация

The article considers the issue of restoring surface textures during 3D reconstruction of historical objects. Traditional texture mapping methods often require large amounts of graphic data and have limitations in creating realistic details. Therefore, the article proposes a procedural texture synthesis approach based on fractal modeling. This approach is based on modeling complex structures using mathematical functions. Using R-functions and fractal models, it allows generating natural texture structures on the surfaces of historical objects. The proposed method serves to reduce the texture size, increase the generation speed, and improve the realism of reconstructed 3D models. The research results show that fractal modeling and procedural texture synthesis methods are effective in visualizing historical heritage objects.
