THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR DEVELOPING ECOLOGICAL CULTURE AMONG FUTURE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

ABI

Аннотация

The purpose of the study is to substantiate the theoretical and methodological foundations for the formation of ecological culture among future primary school teachers within the system of pedagogical education. The research employs methods of theoretical analysis of scientific literature, comparative and systemic approaches, as well as generalization of pedagogical experience. It is established that ecological culture is considered an integral personal quality comprising cognitive, value-based, activity-oriented, and reflective components. The study demonstrates that its development is most effective when grounded in systemic, axiological, competence-based, learner-centered, and activity-oriented approaches, supported by interdisciplinary integration and practice-oriented learning. The key role of primary school teachers in shaping students’ ecological consciousness is identified. It is concluded that improving pedagogical conditions and methodological approaches is essential for ensuring the sustainable development of ecological culture among future teachers.
