THE ROLE OF STRATEGIC PLANNING IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ENTREPRENEURIAL ACTIVITIES

Currently, fairly high requirements are being imposed on the competitiveness of economic entities; however, managers of business structures often lack experience in evaluating their business ideas and lack the necessary competencies—specifically, strategic planning skills. Strategic planning aims to develop and implement strategic priorities for the development of an economic entity, taking into account modern scientific approaches and existing advanced technologies. The object of strategic planning is economic systems, while the subject area of strategic planning encompasses various phenomena and events occurring inside and outside the planning object. The process of strategic planning is the development and adoption of long-term management decisions aimed at developing an economic entity under conditions of uncertainty and taking external factors into account.
