This dissertation aims to reduce the negative impact of the harsh climate conditions formed as a result of the Aral Sea ecological crisis in the Republic of Karakalpakstan on the residential environment through architectural-planning and landscape design principles. The study focuses on creating a comfortable human-centered landscape environment and developing design proposals for improving both the interior and exterior spaces of eco-oriented residential buildings. The objectives of the research include analyzing the specific climatic conditions of Karakalpakstan, studying the traditional characteristics of residential architecture in the region, and exploring the importance of applying ecotechnologies in housing design. The research also considers the integration of architecture and vegetation to stabilize the ecosystem in traditional settlements and proposes modern residential design solutions adapted to the local climate. The object of the research includes traditional residential environments of Karakalpakstan, folk architecture of the Aral Sea region, adverse climatic conditions of the area, as well as interior and landscape design aspects. The subject of the research is a set of conceptual approaches aimed at improving the ecosystem in residential environments of Karakalpakstan, including factors forming climate-adapted spatial zones integrated with architectural solutions and principles of creating eco-oriented housing.
