Аннотация

Massive digital ecosystems serving finance, healthcare, IoT, governance, and cloud providers are progressively becoming victims of systemic trust failure as a result of central control, lack of audit, and accountability. The current security and trust solutions do not scale to heterogeneous stakeholders and ensure verifiable integrity and transparency. The existing blockchain-based solutions tend to focus on trust dimensions individually or in general sense, with only minimal focus on trust lifecycle management, behavioral adaptation and implementation level analysis. The chapter suggests a trust framework using blockchain that integrates trust into system architecture by means of decentralized identity, support of trust as a smart contract, dynamic trust scoring, and hybrid on-chain/off-chain data management. The framework is created to bring together security, transparency, data integrity, and accountability into one scalable trust-by-design model, shifting the existing trust assumptions that are based on the status quo, to policy-driven assumptions.
