Аннотация

Catalysis is a key component of “green chemistry”, and is a strategically vital for the efficient and eco-friendly organic transformations. Easy recovery of catalysts and their reusability is a hot research topic in organic synthesis especially from the perspective of green chemistry. In recent times, magnetic separation has received profound attention because magnetic nanocatalysts (due to their insoluble and paramagnetic nature) can be readily separated from reaction medium by using an external magnet, without the need for filtration, centrifugation or other tedious workup processes. During the last decade, many magnetically recoverable nanocatalysts have been utilized to catalyze a diverse range of chemical reactions. The aim of this review is to highlight the progress in the catalytic applications of magnetically recoverable nanocatalysts in various chemical reactions.
