Аннотация

Corrosion is a pervasive problem that impacts the integrity, safety, and longevity of structures, equipment, and infrastructure across numerous industries. Traditional corrosion control measures often rely on the use of toxic, hazardous, and environmentally damaging inhibitors, posing a significant threat to both human health and the environment. In recent years, there has been a growing interest in the development of sustainable corrosion inhibitors that are both effective and environmentally responsible. This review article discusses the current state of the art in sustainable corrosion inhibitors, including their classification, mechanisms of action, and applications in various industries. The article also provides insights into the challenges and opportunities associated with the development of sustainable corrosion inhibitors, highlighting the need for continued research and development in this critical area.
