The work of intermediate rail fasteners on mountain sections of railways

The current problem of improving the intermediate rail fastening of the railway track of railway transport, considering the peculiarities of operation in mountainous conditions, is considered. The work aims to determine the stress-strain state of the terminal of the intermediate rail mounting and provide the necessary force for pressing the terminals on the rails. The main criteria for ensuring reliable operation of the railway track in terms of the use of intermediate rail fasteners are analysed. On the elements of the longitudinal profile, when braking the composition from friction, an additional hijacking force occurs. By modelling the braking process, a close to the linear dependence of the driving forces on the braking friction is obtained. The result of theft also depends on the power of the anti-theft system, namely, on the force of pressing the fastening terminal to the rail, the weakness of which can subsequently affect the safety of train traffic and cause the track to be thrown out. The obtained results can be applied to mountain sections of railways of Uzbekistan and foreign countries.
