Monitoring and measurement of water quality parameters

The main focus of the article is on water quality monitoring. General descriptions of water quality monitoring are stated. Physical quality factors are briefly summarized and chemical factors are explained in terms of inorganic and organic substances and related indicators. The article then discusses the biological indicators of pollution and eutrophication. The recent concepts of bioaccumulation are outlined.
