Аннотация
A technique is described to determine the sound absorption coefficient of liquids by means of a sensitive resonator method. Details of the construction of high-precision sample cells are shown and the electronic circuit for computer-controlled measurements is presented. Also discussed are various possible sources of experimental errors and appropriate data recording and evaluation procedures. Results are given to illustrate the accuracy of this measurement technique.
