Seismodynamics of underground pipelines interacting with water-saturated fine-grained soil
Аннотация
We suggest a rheological model of interaction between the pipeline and water-saturated fine-grained soil under the assumption that soil has viscous properties. The dynamic stability of underground pipelines interacting with such soils is investigated. Possible effects of buckling under fast longitudinal loading are revealed. The influence of geometric nonlinearity on the buckling phenomenon for pipelines located in water-saturated fine-grained soils is studied. It is shown that the dynamic instability of an underground pipeline occurring as the buckling phenomenon can only arise for a certain combination of all parameters characterizing the pipeline interaction with the soil. The results of the studies are illustrated by graphs of the maximum amplitude of the pipeline transverse vibrations depending on time and their subsequent analysis.
