Solar air heater with a three-layered composite film
Аннотация
A cascaded converter of solar radiation is developed based on functional ceramics and a polyethylene film of 100 μm in thickness. It is shown that its use for a solar air heater greatly improves the air temperature as compared with conventional polyethylene film. This effect is achieved by the conversion of the part of the visible spectrum and ultraviolet range mainly not used for photosynthesis into infrared radiation. The dependence of the temperature increase in the chamber with various film-polymer composites differing in the polymer-ceramic ratio is studied. The transmission peak of the visible spectrum is selected in the range of 620–720 nm, which provides not only for efficient photosynthesis in plants, but also activates the phytochrome, thus stimulating plant growth and development.
