Experimental study of the influence of the geometric structure of ribbing on a vertical tube on the heat transfer coefficient
Аннотация
The article presents the results of a study of the influence of various types of ribbing on the heat transfer coefficient during condensation of water vapor on vertical tubes. Improvement of the geometric configuration of the heat exchange surface is one of the methods for intensifying the heat transfer process during steam condensation on the heating side of the heat exchange tube, due to heat transfer, based on a decrease in the thermal resistance of the formed condensate in the near-wall layers. Along with an increase in the heat exchange surface, in this case, the separation of the steam condensate flow flowing down from the heat exchange surface is achieved, which leads to an increase in the contact of steam directly with the cold surface of the tube and contributes to an increase in heat transfer. Based on the analysis of studies on heat transfer during condensation of water vapor in the form of a laminar-flowing liquid film on the outer surface of vertical tubes with various types of ribbing and comparison with the proposed type, the calculation of the heat transfer coefficient is given. The article presents the results of an experimental study and equations describing the heat transfer coefficient.
