<mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mml:mi>Δ</mml:mi><mml:mi>I</mml:mi><mml:mo>=</mml:mo><mml:mn>1</mml:mn><mml:mn/></mml:math>staggering in odd superdeformed nuclei

The $\ensuremath{\Delta}I=1$ staggering in odd superdeformed nuclei in the $A\ensuremath{\sim}190$ region is systematically investigated. Most of the signature partners in this region show large-amplitude staggerings. The behavior is analyzed and parametrized in the conventional collective model. The spins of the signature partner pairs are assigned in a modified $\mathrm{ab}$ expression.
